Her mother, Tracey Halliday, has previously said that Jorja died on the day that she was due to have her Covid-19 vaccine.

She told the Portsmouth inquest that Jorja first started to feel unwell in the early hours of September 24 and tested positive that day.

Jorja had a telephone appointment on September 27 with the GP, who prescribed her antibiotics for a sore throat because she had a history of tonsillitis and gave her advice on treating Covid-19 symptoms.

Ms Halliday said that by September 28, Jorja’s condition worsened as she kept vomiting.

Queenstown police seek information on Hong Kong tourist who died suddenly.

Queenstown police are appealing for information which might help them track down the relatives of a Hong Kong tourist who died suddenly on the weekend.

Police can confirm the victim was Wai Ming Lai, 51, who had arrived in New Zealand in July from Hong Kong.

Police said they believed he was staying in the Queenstown area on Labour weekend but had not been able to work out exactly where.

"At this stage, little is known about Mr Lai's travel plans in New Zealand, and as such, we have not identified his next of kin to advise them of his death," police said in a statement.

Lauren Gray Gilstrap, MD, MPH (Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center, Lebanon, NH), an advanced heart disease and cardiac transplant physician and researcher, died October 21, 2022, at age 38. Her death was announced in a Twitter post by her hospital.

Known for her academic drive as well as compassionate nature, Gilstrap will be remembered for the impact she had on her colleagues, patients, and loved ones.

“From the first time I met her I knew she was a force to behold,” Malissa Wood, MD (Massachusetts General Hospital, Boston, MA), who served as her primary honors thesis mentor during medical school, told TCTMD. “She was immensely talented and truly dedicated to improving the way we deliver care. She will be deeply missed.”

Family fears one of UK's most most commonly prescribed anti-depressant drugs stopped their 24-year-old son's heart beating amid concerns it could harm others .

For many months, Liam had been taking sertraline, a common antidepressant and part of a group of drugs known as SSRIs, or selective serotonin reuptake inhibitors. It is among the most commonly prescribed medicines in the world and has been used for nearly 30 years to treat anxiety and depression.

In July 2018, Liam had put on weight and his dose of sertraline was doubled by his GP – although it was still within the maximum recommended level.

But nine days later, Liam was found dead in his bed after suffering a cardiac arrest in his sleep. There were no warning signs; Liam had no previously diagnosed heart condition or symptoms.

A man who desperately tried to save his brother after he collapsed in the gym has spoken of the devastating loss.

Martin Cleaver, from Widnes, was working out at Body FX gym in Runcorn back in August, when he began complaining of a pain in his chest.

The 43-year-old's brother Phil turned around and saw him fall off his bench and onto the floor.
