My Translation and Elaboration of Genesis by GXV June 11, 2023 Revised July 28, 2023 I am using the Septuagint of the Complutensian Polyglot. In a beginning, the God created the heaven and the earth. - God created heaven and earth for living creatures. It is understood that heaven was created and was inhabited by angels, and so Genesis describes how earth was created for habitation. But the earth was invisible and unformed. - The earth was invisible because it was unlit, and unformed because its surface was a flat plane, not yet tectonically changed. And darkness [was] above the abyssal. - The planar surface of earth was covered by water many miles deep, and above the water was the darkness that we see above the troposphere. And God's spirit brought [him] with himself and placed [him] upon the water. - God arrives on the scene. God's spirit of truth brought and placed, like one brings and places an offering, the Lamb of God, he who walked upon the water. (See John 1:1-5). And the God said, let a light be produced [(transformed)]. And light itself was produced [(transformed)]. - God's deep voice resonated in the water, and by cavitation and sonoluminescence produced the sunlight. In the darkness, the word of God is our light and transforms us into sons and daughters of light. And the God saw that the light was beautiful. - God makes his creation beautiful. And the God separated between the light and the darkness. - God's hand occluded and moved the light, which would later be assigned to the sun. Boundaries! And the God named the light day, and he named the darkness night. - God would later have the man, who God created in his likeness, name the animals. And evening happened, and morning happened, one day. - God set the path of movement, possibly the solar analemma, as an example for the future. All this became the process of laboring within a day. And the God said, let a solid be transformed in [the] middle of the water. - God's voice transformed some of the water into a solid, versus a liquid or gas, in the context of sunlight being present, possibly by sonofusion. My hypothesis is that the solid sky is deuterium or tritium amorphous ice. And let it [continue to] be [as] parting between a water and a water. - God lifted the solid sky up, separating it from possibly three miles of water left upon the flat terrain. The solid sky is very thick and meant to be impenetrable by mortal creatures. And the God created the solid. And the God separated between the water which was under the solid and the water above the solid. And the God named the solid sky. And the God saw that it was beautiful. And evening happened, and morning happened, a second day.
